About me

I began the creative exploration of the material clay in 1982 in my first own studio in Hochdorf. Even then it became clear that I wanted to devote myself primarily to ceramic art. Numerous exhibitions in Switzerland as well as participation in foreign competitions (Vallauris and Faenza) confirm my work. Among other things, I was at the III. and IV. World Triennale Exhibition of small Ceramics Zagreb for my works. There are also various public purchases.

As co-responsible for building the  I then taught M-art ceramics in the M-art house in Suhr.

In addition to my own constant experimentation, I was able to expand my knowledge on a subject-specific basis with Friedrich Stachat (Germany) and Professors Giovanni Cimatti (Italy) and Imre Schrammel (Hungary).  I am a member of the Swiss Ceramists Working Group and the  Form Forums. 

I have been running a studio for experimental ceramics since 1999. I still want to pass on my experience in the form of works of art at exhibitions and as a ceramic sculptor and designer in workshops to art lovers and interested parties.
